Classes and Curriculum
At Hope Springs Christian School, we organize students by ability level rather than standard grades. We have seen how traditional age-based classrooms often stall progress for those with diverse learning needs. We believe these children thrive best in specialized environments that utilize sensory-rich, hands-on instructions designed to strengthen language processing through multiple channels.
We utilize the following core educational resources and integrates others as required:
• Abeka for math, English, reading, history, and science
• Merrill math as a strategic supplement to the Abeka curriculum
• The NILD approach to master essential reading, writing, and spelling skills
• Gray Matter for comprehensive phonics development
• Wordly Wise for advanced vocabulary and spelling
• New City Catechism and the Bible for spiritual growth
To complement our academic work, we offer enriching experiences like off-campus field trips, guest speakers, and themed activity days.
