At Hope Springs Christian School, students are grouped by ability level rather than traditional grade levels. We have found that age-based classrooms can sometimes limit progress for learners with diverse needs. Instead, we create specialized learning environments where students can thrive through sensory-rich, hands-on instruction that strengthens language processing across multiple pathways.

Our curriculum is thoughtfully designed to provide both structure and flexibility. We incorporate the following core resources, supplementing as needed to support each student’s growth:

• Abeka for math, English, reading, history, and science

• Merrill Math as a strategic supplement to the Abeka curriculum

• The NILD Educational Therapy approach to build essential reading, writing, and spelling skills

• Gray Matter for comprehensive phonics instruction

• Wordly Wise for advanced vocabulary and spelling development

• The Bible and New City Catechism to nurture spiritual growth

 

To enrich the academic experience, we also offer a variety of engaging opportunities, including enrichment classes, off-campus field trips, guest speakers, and themed activity days that bring learning to life.
