Dr. Wendy Cooper-Love

Director and Head of School

Dr. Wendy Cooper-Love joined the Hope Springs Christian School family in 2026 as Director and Head of School. She holds a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Curriculum and Instruction, a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Instructional Technology, and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English with a minor in Education.

Dr. Cooper-Love brings over two decades of experience in K–12 and higher education and is deeply passionate about cultivating meaningful, high‑quality learning experiences for students of all kinds. Her professional expertise includes online learning and academic administration, special education, data‑driven instructional practices, professional development, and project management.

Faith‑Centered Leadership Statement

Dr. Cooper-Love is committed to leading through a Christ‑centered lens, grounded in prayer, servant leadership, and Biblical truth. She believes education is both a calling and a form of stewardship and strives to cultivate a school culture where faith, academic excellence, integrity, and love for others are evident in every decision and interaction. Her leadership philosophy centers on guiding students, staff, and families to grow spiritually, intellectually, and relationally—preparing scholars to lead and serve with purpose.

Lakeisia Caldwell

School Operations Coordinator

Lakeisia Caldwell joined the Hope Springs Christian School family in 2025 as School Operations Coordinator.  Lakeisia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from Michigan State University. Lakeisia has two years of experience working in the Atlanta Public School System and is also the parent of a child on the spectrum, so she has a heart for students with learning disabilities.

Caidra Owens-Lundy

Project Management Assistant

Caidra Owens-Lundy joined the Hope Springs Christian School family in 2026 as the Project Management Assistant. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Management from Auburn University and an Associate of Science in Leadership Studies from Troy University. Caidra brings a wealth of project management experience to Hope Springs and is effective in placing appropriate processes, policies, and procedures in the workspace.  Caidra is passionate about working with youth to help them discover and reach their God-given potential. She is dedicated to fostering meaningful relationships and encouraging students to grow in confidence, character, and faith through the love of Christ.

Sherri Lucas

Learning Support Specialist

Sherri Lucas joined the Hope Springs Christian School family in 2026 as the Learning Support Specialist. She holds a Master of Arts in Teaching degree and is LETRS (Language Essentials for Teachers of Reading and Spelling) trained in Structured Literacy.

Rachael Reid

Classroom Teacher

Rachael Reid joined the Hope Springs Christian School family in 2025 as a Level 2 NILD Classroom Teacher.   Rachael holds a Bachelor of Arts in Human Services from Shorter University.  Rachael possesses almost two decades of experience working with students with learning disabilities and she strives to maintain a nurturing classroom environment with a Christ-centered focus on education and academic achievement.

Xuan Pham

Classroom Teacher

Xuan Pham joined the Hope Springs Christian School family in 2026 as a Level 1 NILD Classroom Teacher.  Xuan (pronounced S-W-A-N) holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology degree from Vietnam National University.  Xuan has extensive experience in elementary teaching, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Social and Emotional Learning (SEL), and mental health counseling for the youth.

Sophie Langford

Music Teacher

Sophie Langford joined the Hope Springs Christian School family in 2026 as the Music Teacher. She is currently earning her Education degree at the University of North Georgia, where she is specializing in music.

Sophie has been involved in music ministry and music‑based therapy for several years, serving through her church’s VBS program and partnering with her former piano teacher to support young learners. She believes music is a God‑given gift that inspires confidence, encourages creativity, and draws hearts closer to Him.

With a special passion for students with special needs and learning disabilities, Sophie approaches teaching as an act of service and faith. She is grateful for the opportunity to share her love of music and help students flourish.

Kristen Trifan

Art Teacher

Kristen joined the Hope Springs Christian School family in 2026 as an Art Teacher. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Secondary English Education and an Associate's degree in Fine Arts. She enjoys traveling, dancing ballet as a form of worship, playing the flute, and singing on the worship team at her church. One of the greatest fulfilments in her life is to lead the next generation closer to Jesus through the arts.

Vicky Friisjaeger

Therapist

Vicky joined the Hope Springs Christian School family in 2024 as an Educational Therapist and Art Teacher. She holds a master’s degree in international business communication specializing in translation and interpreting as well as a bachelor’s degree in English and German business communication from Aarhus University in her native country of Denmark. Vicky is passionate about helping students recognize their strengths and develop their confidence and resilience.

Ruth Agnew

Therapist

Ruth Agnew joined the Hope Springs Christian School family in 2025 as an NILD Professionally Certified Educational Therapist.  Ruth holds the highest level of training in NILD Educational Therapy.  She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Biblical Studies from Emmaus Bible College and a Bachelor of Arts in Honours History from McMaster University. She truly loves working with children, giving them the tools they need to overcome learning difficulties to be successful in life and learning.

Sophia Chin

Educational Consultant and Board Liason

Sophia Chin serves as the Educational Consultant for Hope Springs Christian School, as well as the liaison to the Board of Directors.  Sophia possesses many years of experience in education with her expertise in classroom instruction and assessment and operates with a servant's heart in the Christian education community.

Jennifer Sampson, NP-C

Telehealth School Nurse Practitioner

Jennifer Sampson (affectionately known as “Nurse Jen”) joined the Hope Springs Christian School family in 2026 as the Telehealth School Nurse. An AANP (American Association of Nurse Practitioners) board-certified nurse practitioner with more than 20 years of experience in the healthcare field, Jen also holds certifications in BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support).

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Valdosta State University and her Master of Science in Nursing from Auburn University, where she became licensed as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

Throughout her career, Jen has served in a variety of healthcare settings, including urgent care, the Department of Corrections, cardiology, and travel nursing. She has a special passion for supporting students with special needs and learning disabilities and is deeply committed to serving others through her faith and love for the Lord.
